# arch1ve theme for Kettu Kettu (like Bunny/Vendetta) installs themes from a URL, so these two files need to live somewhere public. ## Self-hosted (Gitea on arch1ve) — the plan 1. Create a public repo `arch1ve-theme` on your Gitea, push `arch1ve.json` + `arch1ve-backdrop-mobile.jpg`. 2. Fix `background.url` in the JSON to `https://git.//arch1ve-theme/raw/branch/main/arch1ve-backdrop-mobile.jpg`. 3. Kettu → Themes → paste `https://git.//arch1ve-theme/raw/branch/main/arch1ve.json`. ## Fallback: a public GitHub repo 1. Create a public repo named `arch1ve-theme` on your GitHub account. 2. Upload `arch1ve.json` and `arch1ve-backdrop-mobile.jpg` to it (drag-and-drop on the repo page works). 3. Edit `arch1ve.json` and replace `YOUR_GITHUB_USER` in the `background.url` line with your GitHub username. 4. On the phone: Discord → Settings → Kettu → Themes → paste `https://raw.githubusercontent.com/YOUR_GITHUB_USER/arch1ve-theme/main/arch1ve.json` → Install → enable it → restart Discord. ## Alternative: self-host on arch1ve Drop both files behind Traefik/Pangolin at any public HTTPS path and point `background.url` and the install URL there instead. ## Tuning - `background.alpha` (0–1): how strong the skyline is behind the chat. 0.42 is a good daytime value; 0.6 for full neon. - `background.blur`: 0 for crisp, 2–4 for a softer look. - After editing the JSON on GitHub, re-install the URL in Kettu (or use its refresh option) to pull the change.
